As I delighted in this small array of scenic shots, I witnessed an intriguing insight beyond the pictures themselves; each photo seemed to draw me into life beyond my own. The mountain retreat shots #’s 14 & 8 (Flowing Water) both seemed to project an emphasis on the rebirth of life; that rejuvenating source through which all things are sustained. The old broken down piece of timber that exhibits a disgruntling scowl, rebuking time and circumstance as the circle of life returns it to the center from which it all began—“Mother Earth”.
